How to Deposit

MonCash / NatCash

MonCash and NatCash are the leading Haitian mobile money platforms. Use this method if you hold a balance on either platform and want to move funds into your Hugo Wallet account.

1. Log in and open the Deposit screen

   Log in to your Hugo Wallet account and navigate to Wallet → Deposit. Select MonCash or NatCash as your deposit method.

2. Note your Hugo Wallet deposit reference

   Hugo Wallet will display a unique deposit reference number (and in some cases a dedicated mobile number) to use when initiating the transfer. Copy this reference — you’ll need it in the next step.

3. Open your MonCash or NatCash app

   On your phone, open the MonCash or NatCash app and navigate to the Send Money or Transfer option.

4. Enter the Hugo Wallet number and amount

   Enter the Hugo Wallet recipient number provided on the deposit screen, then enter the amount in HTG you wish to deposit. Paste or type your deposit reference into the memo/note field.

5. Confirm the transfer

   Confirm the transaction in your mobile money app using your PIN. Your Hugo Wallet balance will be updated once the transfer is confirmed — typically within a few minutes.

Ensure you include the deposit reference in the memo field. Transfers without a reference may take longer to match to your account.

PayPal

Fund your Hugo Wallet from your existing PayPal balance. This method is ideal for users in the United States, Canada, and Europe who are already using PayPal.

2. Enter the deposit amount

   Enter the amount you want to deposit and select the currency (USD or EUR). Hugo Wallet will show you the equivalent amount that will be credited to your wallet after conversion, if applicable.

3. Authenticate with PayPal

   Click “Continue with PayPal”. You’ll be redirected to PayPal’s secure login page (or a PayPal pop-up will appear). Log in to your PayPal account and authorize the payment.

4. Confirm and return

   After authorizing the payment in PayPal, you’ll be redirected back to Hugo Wallet. Your balance will reflect the deposit once PayPal confirms the transaction — usually within minutes.

Make sure your PayPal account is verified and has sufficient balance or a linked funding source before initiating a deposit, to avoid payment failures.

Bitcoin

Deposit Bitcoin (BTC) directly to your Hugo Wallet. Your BTC deposit is converted to your base currency at the live market rate at the time of confirmation.

1. Navigate to Wallet → Deposit → Bitcoin

   Log in to Hugo Wallet, go to Wallet → Deposit, and select Bitcoin (BTC) as the deposit method.

2. Copy your unique BTC deposit address

   Hugo Wallet will generate a unique Bitcoin deposit address for your account. Copy the address or scan the QR code displayed on screen.

   Always copy your deposit address fresh from the Hugo Wallet dashboard. Never reuse an old address from memory or a previous session, as addresses may rotate for security purposes.

3. Send BTC from your wallet or exchange

   Open your Bitcoin wallet or exchange account, initiate a withdrawal, and paste your Hugo Wallet BTC deposit address as the destination. Enter the amount of BTC you want to send and confirm the transaction.

4. Wait for network confirmations

   Bitcoin transactions require a minimum number of network confirmations before Hugo Wallet credits your account. This typically takes between 10 and 60 minutes depending on network traffic and the fee paid.

The minimum BTC deposit amount and the number of confirmations required are displayed on the deposit screen inside your account. Check there for the most current thresholds.

USDT TRC20

USDT on the TRON network (TRC20) is a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar. It offers fast transaction speeds and low network fees, making it one of the most cost-effective ways to fund your Hugo Wallet.

1. Go to Wallet → Deposit → USDT TRC20

   Log in to Hugo Wallet, navigate to Wallet → Deposit, and select USDT TRC20 as your deposit method.

2. Copy your TRON (TRC20) deposit address

   Hugo Wallet will display your unique TRC20 USDT deposit address. Copy the address or scan the QR code.

   Only send USDT via the TRC20 (TRON) network to this address. Sending USDT via the ERC20 (Ethereum) or BEP20 (BNB Chain) network to a TRC20 address will result in permanent loss of funds. Double-check the network before confirming your transaction.

3. Send USDT from your wallet or exchange

   In your crypto wallet or exchange, initiate a USDT withdrawal. Select TRC20 as the network, paste your Hugo Wallet TRC20 address, and enter the amount.

4. Confirm the transaction

   Confirm the withdrawal in your sending wallet. TRON network transactions are typically confirmed within 1–3 minutes. Your Hugo Wallet USD balance will be credited once the transaction is confirmed on-chain.

USDT TRC20 is ideal when you want predictable deposit value — because USDT is pegged 1:1 to the US Dollar, you’ll always know exactly how much will be credited to your account, with no exchange rate risk during transit. This is especially useful for larger transfers.

SEPA

SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) bank transfers are available to users with a bank account in a SEPA-participating country (the European Union, UK, Switzerland, Norway, and others). Use this method to fund your Hugo Wallet with EUR directly from your bank.

3. Initiate the transfer from your bank

   Confirm and submit the transfer through your bank. SEPA transfers within the Eurozone are typically processed within 1 business day. Transfers from non-Eurozone SEPA countries may take up to 2 business days.

5. Receive confirmation

   Once Hugo Wallet receives and matches your transfer (using the payment reference), your EUR balance will be credited and you’ll receive an email confirmation.

Always include your unique Hugo Wallet payment reference in the transfer description field. Without it, your transfer cannot be automatically matched to your account, which may cause delays.
