# Create a Hugo Wallet Account — Free & Takes Minutes

> Open a free Hugo Wallet account in minutes. Sign up, confirm your email, and choose your base currency to start sending money internationally.

Opening a Hugo Wallet account is free, fast, and requires no paperwork. In just a few minutes you'll have access to a multi-currency digital wallet you can use to send money internationally, hold balances in six currencies, and eventually add a Visa Business Debit Card. Follow the steps below to get your account up and running.

## Sign Up for Hugo Wallet

    Open your browser and navigate to **[hugowallet.finance](https://hugowallet.finance)**. On the homepage, click the **"Open my free account"** button to begin the registration process.

  <Step title="Enter your personal details">
    Fill in your **first and last name** and your **email address**, then choose a strong password. Your password should be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols to keep your account secure.

  <Step title="Verify your email address">
    After submitting your details, Hugo Wallet will send a **verification email** to the address you provided. Open the email and click the confirmation link inside to activate your account.

      If you don't see the email within a couple of minutes, check your **spam or junk folder**. Add `contacthugowallet.finance@gmail.com` to your contacts to prevent future emails from being filtered.

    Once your email is confirmed, you'll be prompted to select your **base currency** — the primary currency your wallet will use for displaying balances and processing transactions. Choose the one that best matches where you live or where you send money most often.

    Review the **Terms of Service** and **Privacy Policy**, then check the acceptance box and click **"Complete Registration"**. Your Hugo Wallet account is now active and ready to use.
